We are tech-savvy, computer lovin' information architects! As the nerve center of shipboard media, we liaise with all departments on the ship to champion Carnival brand standards, manage content, troubleshoot the onboard Carnival HUB app, and tell guests what's new in our daily activity schedule.
As a Content Manager you’ll use various outlets to inform our guests of safety protocols, dining options, the FUN happening around ship, and much more!
Content Managers work hard behind the scenes with our content management system to update the FUN activities taking place around the ship on the Carnival HUB app, as well as the open times for food and drink venues, restaurant menus, safety information, dining attire, and youth activities.
Content Managers help personalize the guest experience by suggesting events they may like via the HUB app.
Get your 10,000 steps in, everyday, as you audit the signage around the ship for compliance with safety and other regulations.
Content Managers are responsible for updating cruise specific flyers, such as Debarkation, Water Shuttle and Good To Know to ensure that the information distributed to our guests is relevant, concise, compliant, and professional.
Content Managers work with our various guest venues in different capacities – working on scheduling, compliance auditing, and signage updates. Sports, movies, and TV content licensing is complex and requires a sharp eye for detail.
A larger-than-life screen and thrill-ing virtual adventures are on offer to our guests through the Multiplex. The Content Manager is responsible for generating printed and digital guest facing schedules. You will also be expected to make suggestions for improvement based on analytical reports.
Instead of a drive in, how about a Dive-In movie theater! The Content Manager works with our Entertainment Technical team to ensure movies, SCALA, major sports games, and Cruise Director broadcasted shows are scheduled and displaying properly on Carnival’s Seaside Theater.
Content Managers work with every department on board - from the Captain, to the Cruise Director, to the Photo Department. Content Managers ensure all content needs are met and still find time for FUN alongside their duties in a myriad of settings.
Fun Squad report to the Cruise Director, and Sports Staff reports to the Sports Manager. Content Managers report directly to the Entertainment Director.
All Fun Squad, Sports and Content Manager positions will be accommodated in a double-occupancy cabin which includes bunk beds, closet, desk, TV and bathroom (shower, sink, cabinet, toilet). The cabins also have plugs for charging electronics and reading lights over the beds. The cabin is cleaned once a week by a member of the housekeeping team.
Your uniform will be provided to you onboard. It is your responsibility to keep it in presentable condition and to take it with you for future contracts. You will be responsible for providing your own black or tan daytime shoes and formal wear shoes.
