Activity Hosts: Carnival Entertainment is seeking bright, bubbly, people-loving personalities to join the Activity Host teams aboard Carnival. Known as the Fun Squad, our hosts are the soul of the party on every deck. Whether hosting a comedy show, bingo, trivia, or a deck party, the Fun Squad is always on the go and in the spotlight. Interested in having the most fun while creating great experiences for our guests? Ideal candidates are fearless in front of an audience, have strong timekeeping and time management skills, and have a lot of energy. Microphone experience or improv skills are a major bonus for this position.


Sports Staff: Our sports Staff take fun to new heights! Carnival is seeking high-energy, enthusiastic leaders of all sports activities, who have the ability to motivate guests to take full advantage of their vacation and maximize their fun. Our Sports Staff bring high spirits to everything from attractions and sports tournaments to trivia, deck parties, and more. Ideal candidates have strong attention to safety guidelines and the ability to maintain sports equipment. As a candidate you cannot have a fear of heights and a background in outdoor recreation is preferred. If hired, CPR and First Aid certifications will be required.


Audition Details: Once we review your application, we will confirm your attendance to this onsite audition via email; you'll also receive location and time details (Please read the job description for more requirements.)


Please note: Carnival does not cover travel or lodging fees for audition attendees, please apply only if you're within driving distance.

Select Position

Requirements include:

  • Passing all required training for the attractions on your ship. This can include but is not limited to high ropes course activities, rock walls, trampoline parks, rollercoasters and other outer deck attractions.
  • Explaining and enforcing safety rules and regulations.
  • Responding to and reporting safety issues, emergencies and incidents to the Sports Manager. If the Sports Manager is not on deck, you can report the safety issues to the Pool and Deck Supervisor in the Housekeeping Department. There will always be a Pool Deck Supervisor on duty to assist with any housekeeping related issues such as clearing pooled water, closing an area, or assigning housekeeping attendants to assist with an issue.
  • Attending meetings, training activities, courses, and other work-related activities as required.
